Finches?
It's odd that I would see two on the sidewalk this morning. I'm guessing their finches. What exactly are they?

Red Tailed Hawk
A young hawk in the wild. It was very tolerant of humans. I got to within 10 ft of it for the photo op and it viewed me with curiosity. It was very aware and it exuded intelligence.

Old Jaffa Tel Aviv, Israel
The day started with arrival in Haiffa, Israel. We took the rail to Tel Aviv stopping at the Ha' Hagana rail station. We then walked out of the station, taking a left, and walked about 5 minutes to the Central Bus station. We bought what we thought to be a day pass but the bus driver spoke English poorly and sold us a single ride ticket. Bus No. 4.
Just inside the Central Bus Station. We had to go through security check.
Part of Old Jaffa. We were melting under the sun and even picture taking was a chore.
Hoopoe. This mini pterodactyl sighting was first for us.

Gray Fox
A backyard visitor.
And Jesus said unto him, Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head. Luke 9:58

Eastern Blue Bird
Not as intensely cobalt blue or neon orange as I've seen but I was glad I was able to snap this photo. These opportunities are rare.
