A great zoo. Lots of fun. Lots of people. It was a nice day but walking under the sun petered us out.

Newport Aquarium - Newport, Kentucky

It's a little pricey but well worth it if you're into marine line.

Lincoln Park Zoo - Chicago, IL

It's a great free zoo.

Carnival Glory Day 3 - Reversing Falls, Saint John, New Brunswick

Reversing Falls.  At least when we visited, it was underwhelming.  Above is about 10 AM.  Below is about 1 PM. Yes, there was a reversal in direction but I was expecting a thunderous drop of at least 6 ft.

Sushi. Pretty looking but drab tasting.

Braised Style Short Ribs. Not what I expected ordering short ribs but it was tender.

Warm chocolate cake as I recall.  Decadent and comforting.

Continuing through the Garden of Gethsame, we rounded the corner and had this magnificent view.

The ship docked in Ashdod. Jerusalem is about a 1 hour drive away. The negotiation with the taxi driver was protracted to reach Jerusalem and Bethlehem. The day would be long and busy.

Our driver took us to do shopping for Dead Sea products. I should have been tipped off about our driver when we spent 30 minutes here.

The Bible came to life.  There was a certain amount of unbelief that I was here walking the same path of Jesus.

Olive trees. Beautiful and stout.  Are these 2000 plus years old?

Next to the Olive tree that purportedly Jesus prayed at before his betrayal.  How did people know this was the exact tree?  Do olive trees live this long?
